APPLE BARFI




Ingredients :
1. Apple – 2pcs
2. Sugar – 1cup...
3. Coconut Powder – 1cup (or you can also use freshly grated coconut)
4. Lime Juice – 1tsp
5. Cardamom Powder – 1tsp
6. Dry Fruits – Almonds-Raisins – chopped 1/8cup


Preparation :
First, peel the skin of the apples and chop them roughly. Add lime juice into these chopped apples so that it would not change its colour completely.

Cooking Steps :
Place a pan on the oven and switch on the flame. Add sugar and coconut powder and keep stirring over medium flame until the sugar melts. When the coconut starts changing its colour, add chopped apples into the pan and mix it well. Cook it over medium to medium-high heat till the apples get softened (about 15mins). But keep stirring otherwise it could get burned from the bottom. When apples gets tender, add cardamom powder, mix it well and switch off the flame. Now transfer the mixture into a square shape bowl/container, greased with little ghee/clarified butter. Garnish with chopped dry fruits and let it be cool down to reach at room temperature. After this, you can keep this in the refrigerator atleast for 1hr so that it gets little hard and you can get proper shape when cut the barfis.


After 1hr, take out from the refrigerator and cut it according to your choice. You can serve it now. So enjoy this nutritious dessert .
